SHAKEN & STIRRED. THE GINS THAT TOOK US AWAY

Like so many of you, our summer travel plans were put on an indefinite hold as COVID-19 continued to keep the world at a standstill. The romantic notion of sipping on a cocktail as the sun drops over the cliffs of Capri had us dreaming of what could’ve been. Alas, the WF team has been busy creating a flight of gins that will satisfy the travel itch and don’t require masks or passports. Here’s a roundup of our favorite summer gins!

ROKU GIN

A multi-layered gin crafted by Japanese artisans, this balanced gin combines unique Japanese botanicals like yuzu peel, sansho peppers and sakura flowers. The exotic flavours will draw you in.

MISTRALGIN

Oh France, we miss you so! This light pink gin hails from the region of Provence. Crafted in a 100 year old distillery, the botanicals in this elegant citrus gin are from the lands carved by the Mistral wind. As the bottle so aptly says, ‘you can enjoy a Provencal experience wherever you are,’ this year, more than ever!

HIDDEN TEMPLE

The diversity of the Ontario, Canada landscape is rugged and vast, and that is exactly the essence that this Toronto based distiller has captured in its wild botanicals.

EMPRESS 1908

You’d be hard pressed to find a prettier gin than this beauty. Using delicate butterfly pea blossoms to create the exquisite jewel tone, the ideas for gorgeous and balanced cocktails are endless. This gem is crafted in collaboration with the ever iconic Empress Hotel, found in British Columbia’s, Vancouver Island.

MALFY GIN

Have we mentioned our penchant for Italy? If there was ever a place to enjoy the view, the Italian seacoast would be it. This unique gin, with its citrus undertones, will forever have us dreaming of an aperitivo under an Italian lemon tree as the sun descends into the sea.
