WF’s NO BAKE HEALTHY HOLIDAY TRUFFLES

Let’s be honest. Who isn’t craving something chocolate-y and sweet right now? Grocery aisles are filled with Christmas chocolate, cakes and cookies, and the will power is scarce. We get it! That’s why WF is pleased to share these healthy truffles with the sweet flavors of the season wrapped into one. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup macadamia nuts
  • 22 pitted soft dates
    4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup shredded dried coconut
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves

In food processor, pulse the nuts and then add the dates (be sure to remove the pits) and the rest of the ingredients. Pulse 3-4 times until mixture is combined and resembles a sticky dough. Using your hands, simply roll the balls in your hands.

Optional: Roll the balls in desired coatings, like cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or an icing sugar substitute.
